Half Moon beach, Almería (Andalusia)

Plage de la Demie Lune, Almería (Andalousie)

After the Cala de Monsul, about 2 km, we get to the other beach of Almeria, called Playa de la Media Luna (Half Moon Beach). Its name comes from its shape, half moon sand with rock formations of volcanic material on both sides, perfect for shelter in their shade. The range of the Media Luna is part of the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar.

This is a pristine beach, very busy during the weekend and the holiday months in the summer. However, being a rather remote beach and not offer services, because it is, after all, fairly quiet.

The range of the Media Luna was about 180 meters long. Its sand is fine and gray. Its waters are clear and transparent.

It's not a beautiful beach than or El Monsul Barronal but we also recommend you. There is a car park
