So what to do in Barcelona?
Down La Rambla and stroll Boqueria!
Day and night this avenue is very busy. So watch your pockets and leave carried away by the waves of human tide to the sea!
In the middle of the Ramblas is the famous Boqueria market. All specialties of the region are here. Hams, sausages, fruits and vegetables, fish and delicious smoothies! It is a place rich in flavors and colors! Do not miss ... Attention is closed on Sundays.
The Creueta del Coll Park and Park Güell!
A scene from the film "L'auberge espagnole" was filmed here which makes it very popular, especially lovers. I am more felt in "Alice in Wonderland" with the rather original architecture of the buildings that take to the natural and which are covered with mosaics!
This is a must and you have a beautiful view of the city of Barcelona, facing the sea.
Park Güell will pay from October 2013!
The famous cathedral, the Sagrada Familia!
It is the most visited monument in Spain and was declared by UNESCO Heritage in 2005! You can not visit Barcelona without seeing the Sagrada Familia, it would be like visiting Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower!
To get into it you will have to queue for a while and pay 18 € 50. Personally I found it expensive so I did not return it. I was satisfied to see the pictures on the Internet and go around this great monument! It is truly original ...
The Camp Nou stadium F.C.Barcelone!
Please note that the traffic is difficult late in the game and the metro is shielded.
Montjuic Castle and park!
This is a site to behold for the nice view of the city of Barcelona! On this hill you can stroll around the botanical garden, see the museum of Olympism and sport but also visit the castle which is at the top! There is a military museum in it but it's mostly the view is interesting. There's even a cable car that goes above the city linking the sea to the top of the hill! What to do in Barcelona Montjuic
